About Me!

My name is Ivy Coleman and I am currently an honors student and senior at HIlliard Darby High School. I am involved in Interact Club, which is focused on "Service Above Self". I love helping out my community, reading, playing softball, and watching movies. I like rap, hip-hop, and alternative rock music. I beleive my friends would describe me as trustworthy, caring, and easy-going.
As of now, I am undecisive about what I want my future career to be, but becoming an elementary school teacher is an option I am willing to explore. I love interacting with children from previous babysitting experiences and enjoy teaching them new things. I think I would be a great leader and role model for them. Futhermore, I believe I am College and Career Ready because I demonstrate independence, I use technology strategically and capably, and I can respond to varying demands of audience, task, purpose, and discipline appropiately in and out of a classroom.
Altogether, I think I am very flexible and well-rounded when it comes to picking a career because I am so fascinated and interested in different careers. But, the one thing that remains fairly constant is that I favor social careers which is the servicing of others or caretaking field of study. With that, my vocational identity could be many things because the careers that call to me are so vast.
